Episode 76: Design Patterns – Observer

Hello, guys. Here is another episode of the series about design patterns. For this round of basic patterns, I wanted to finish with the observer. In next episodes, we will be focusing more in design patterns that improve performance. Anyways, that is in the future. In this episode, we talk about what is the observer, when to use it, implementation details, benefits, and pitfalls. I hope you find this episode helpful.

Another great episode! thanks for making it. Are you guys familiar with “Game Programming Patterns” https://www.amazon.com/Game-Programming-Patterns-Robert-Nystrom/dp/0990582906/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1496331423&sr=8-1&keywords=game+design+patterns.

I would definitely recommend this reference book to keep at hand as a refresher.
